Final Portrait of my Brother in Law after a lot of reworking. It made me remember how much I love the tactile aspect of painting, dipping, spreading light paint over a toned ground, changing things that need changing.

The past two weeks, some drawings of clothed figures.

A study for my next painting, it won't be specific to identity, but more about a jaunty guy playing a ukelele in a sky blue hat.

I have been too busy organizing the Davis Visual Arts Association to paint this week. Not even a drawing. But here is a painting from not long ago. It's my Dad, in celebration of Father's Day.
